Nana always had a special smile for me… and she surrounded and connected me with the best people in the world.

What ever the occasion… hair style or who was there or missing… she was awesome in every way!

  1. I will join you, my friend, in this celebration of Grandmothers. On my father's side I had my Nan…. didn't know her so well or that she loved me, but I've been told she was proud of me….I know she watches over me now. On my mother's side, for 22years I had an amazing great grandmother, Laura, I called her Grandmar.I was the only one she ever hugged….once! Her mother was named Louise! Her eldest daughter is my grandmother, turning 90 this Feb. I am the first daughter of the first daughter of the first daughter of the first daughter, also the first great grand daughter! I follow in a line of power house woman..the greatest is my mother! If I ever achieve half as she has I will have done very well! All these women have had a profound affect on my life!

So wonderful that you have, as a man, recognize the woman in your life and appreciate them….especially your nana.
