I’ve spent quite a bit of time researching Tony Robbins this year. I read “awaken the giant within earlier this year” and have grown to admire his work.
It’s almost reached a tipping point… I am seriously considering purchasing “the edge”
The Secret cost 30 or 40 dollars… and the book was a bit less. It requires less than 2 hours to watch and is amazing! I’ll agree… that I don’t agree with every single little detail in The Secret… but overall it’s a great thing to own!
The edge is over 200 dollars and consumes far more time… and is really just the tip of the iceberg.
This parallels my thought on the books i’ve purchased. It’s been rare… actualy it’s never happened… that I haven’t found a piece of information in a book that read that didn’t justify the cover price. Frankly many books that I considere priceless… cost less that 30 dollars.
The time invested to read… and constrated with the available time… are a better criteria to rate book… but… in reality… the books… or systems… that cause the action (reaction) are truly the ones of most value!
Anyhow… I’m just trying to get back into the habit…
