Today it would seem that based on a few initial news sources that…
The Ontario Government was motivated and inspired in part by Tim Mulcahy’s influence… in proposing a new law!
Tim… made a decision and took action…
He probably didn’t think about all the possibilities and implications involved…
Perhaps he could have proposed something better… perhaps not…
Instead of doing allot of things others may have done during this difficult time…
He did things that unfortunately many people don’t believe they could do themselves…
And he managed to influence the Government on the law it is proposing regarding saving lives!
Lots of folks have been supportive of Tim… lots of folks have been cruel… and some added great insights!
Folks like Cindy Smith at http://gigababy.blogspot.com and organizations like MADD…
Who have spent years creating public awareness around drinking and driving and road safety…
Plus all the stats… have obviously affected the specific decisions and action taken by the Government today.
Tim wanted changes made to how drinking and speeding was viewed… and dealt with for those under 22…
He did not propose anything to do with number of passengers…
He did not publicly blame anyone…
Yes… his ad got attention… and something good HAS come of this… tragic time in Tim’s life.
